What Good Chanting Sounds Like

In my opinion, this is what good chanting sounds like.

This is from a Muktananda tape recorded maybe 25 years ago. Similar takes can be found today from www.shantimandir.com, the website of Baba's successor, Swami Nityananda.

All these chants start slowly, and then over a period of 10-20 minutes gradually increase in speed and intensity. This is nearing the culminating cresendo. This sounds like it could be Nityananda on the drums. He is among the best.

The chant is called Narayana.
